If you've skimmed through my Facebook albums, you'll see a major theme - cheerleading! Cheerleading has been a passion of mine since middle school when I started. As a former Wheeler High School cheerleader (Go Lions!), I use my knowledge and experience in the sport to convey the incredible team work and athleticism displayed by our Liberty University Cheerleading Squad.
There are two squads (White & Red) at Liberty University that work together to promote Flames spirit and support for the university athletics! Both cheer at football games and share the responsibility of cheering for volleyball and basketball games. The White squad shows off their skills at they pump up the crowd on the sidelines and on the court at this game against High Point University!

CHEER | Liberty University Cheerleading Exhibition
The squad arrived early to do a run through of the routine and make any last minute corrections before they took the mat at the exhibition.
The exhibition was open to the public and many fellow Liberty athletes as well as friends and family were there to support the team. The exhibition also gave the squad a chance to talk about being a member of the team and what it means to them to represent Liberty University and Jesus Christ at the national championships. Coach Sydnor has worked hard over the last few years to bring more recognition to the effort and training the team does to excel in their sport and honor the Lord and Liberty with their ability. The exhibition was a great opportunity to demonstrate that!
Enjoy some images of the Liberty University red squad's UCA Nationals Exhibition performance!
